Project Title: Lidar Use by Geospatial Professionals in Iowa: A Survey

This research is intended to measure the extent of Lidar use in the Iowa professional population. It is being done via an online survey and will take about 15 minutes. There is no anticipated risk, and the information obtained during this study will be kept confidential. The survey asks for personal information, but that information will not be connected in any way to your responses and it will be impossible for us to tell who made what responses. The summarized findings with no personally identifying information may be posted online, published in an academic journal or presented at a scholarly conference. The information we gather will help us determine if more data acquisition like the lidar project are warranted and how other investments in technological data should be made.
